ONLINE CLUB SHOP OPENS...WITH TEETHING PROBLEMS
The Official Stockport County Online Shop is now open for business.
But customers trying to buy via PayPal may be experiencing frustration as the site doesn't seem to want to allow you to pay for orders.
Get over there and take a look.
And more importantly, let us know what you think of it here.
We like what we've seen of the stock so far, plus the site looks crisp and fresh and is easy to navigate.
What a shame they couldn't sort the PayPal issue in time for store opening.
We tried to purchase an adult sized away shirt in large. The store processed the order but then after redirecting to PayPal we weren't able to pay - it failed to recognise our username and password, despite this working on other PayPal purchases today.
We're not sure where the issue lies - with the club shop link to PayPal or with PayPal itself. But, in any case, unhappy customers on day one is not what anyone wanted.
* UPDATE: The issues with PayPal have now been resolved according to the site.
A statement via email from the club shop was issued at 2.30pm on Saturday 6 July. It said: "As you have been aware we have had some technical difficulties with PayPal on the site not accepting all logins. This has now been resolved and you can now purchase from the shop. Thanks for the understanding."
