So, Stockport County kick off the season with a home match against Boston. A new Boston Tea Party, if you like, only without the Tea Act to overturn and a bunch of irate Americans to pacify.
What exactly do we fans expect this season?
A degraded football experience with plenty of long balls and cries of 'hoof' from the stands?
Or a more thinking man's approach...you know, our players actually passing it to their team mates and running into space, creatively, for a return ball?
Bogie's past style of play should mean we see a more thoughtful approach to the beautiful game. More beautiful, let's hope, than the bereavement football we all had to endure for the endless winter of last season.
So, I'll open the discussion to you, the long-suffering fans, to gauge what you believe the new season has in store in football terms.
